My son has a project to do for school and it involves making a presentation on Cuba, but I frankly do not know a whole lot about the country. At least, what I know is kind of basic stuff that most adults of my age would know. I want him to have some more interesting facts in the presentation, since I am going to be helping him with it, and I have decided to look for them online. I foun some as listed on this page and there are some facts about Cuba there that I did not know about, and really had no idea of.
I think it will be a pretty good presentation if we can get some facts together and to make it pretty thorough. Right now though, I am still doing some research and I am debating between a few different facts to try to figure out which ones will be the best for this situation in particular. It is kind of hard to come up with the best overall facts when there are a lot of interesting ones like this.
I do not know if I want to talk much about Communism or the Bay of Pigs Invasion, or stuff like that. I am not sure if it is appropriate for the audience. Maybe some of that stuff would be necessary, just so it does not seem like my son is glossing over an important part of the history of the country. But at the same time, I know that it is best if he does not get into too much detail with that stuff. I need him to get started on this, but I have been looking at facts for awhile and I am not even sure where he is at the moment honestly.
